Who Are These Guys?
Quarantine Comics started June 1st, 2008 and was founded by Ray Coffman, Sean Lightsey, and Ray Jordan. Many people ask where the name came from and though it is tempting to keep people guessing, we will fill you in here. Being fans of the industry, we shared a feeling that all the large scale cons and events are deliberately located far from Kentucky, and therefore, a sense of being “quarantined” was felt. Instead of taking this as a negative, however, we banded together in an attempt to bring you the best in comic books and other types of media that captivate readers with concrete artistry, characters, compelling storylines and arcs.
